ABOUT US
Our strength lies in our ability to continue to quickly foster diversity within the field of mediation. We are always striving to make mediation even more accessible to those who elect to use it, including providing services at reduced rates, adding to our list of initiatives and finding advocates to endorse our efforts.
Particular resolutions derived from Choose 2 Talk sessions have assisted in; a decrease in court proceedings/ hearings, preventing violence or dangerous relationships, prevention of costly legal services and more.

C2T stands for Choose 2 Talk Inc. We're a tech savvy certified mediation service that helps individuals to settle their disputes in a legal and diplomatic way while avoiding court. Mediation can preserve or restore relationships by eliminating fundamental misunderstandings, finding common ground and by improving communication between parties.
Mediation typically involves parties meeting with a mediator and their attorneys, if they prefer, in a comfortable, round table setting. Each party shares their side of the story, what they would like to achieve, and why, and the mediator identifies common ground helping to generate options that likely lead to a resolution. Once parties agree on an acceptable option and terms. The settlement is written up into a documented agreement.
Choose 2 Talk provides mediators most of whom appear on court rosters reflecting a wide variety of backgrounds and have completed a 40-hour training program approved by the State Court Administrative Office (SCAO). Newer mediators and volunteers a brought into the C2T culture through training, mentoring and networking programs.
C2T is known for our responsible use of technology as a means to bring a greater awareness to mediation: a paperless office and "green" offsite sessions, online case and research studies, demonstrating the effective of virtual mediation sessions etc.
Choose 2 Talk follows the leadership, standards and code of ethics of the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) Community Dispute Resolution Program (CDRP) and Mediate.com to neutrally and privately offer mediation as an alternative to the traditional adversarial dispute resolution in courts such as litigation.
Choose 2 Talk partners with local and community organizations and resources to offer each participating party equal and unbiased assistance during and after the mediation process with plans for additional partnerships. Outreach includes free workshops and conferences, annual events and an accessible pool of resources.
Choose 2 Talk advertises by: social media marketing, ads in local and state-wide publications (magazines & newspapers), distributing literature through-out the community, public service announcements, reaching out to schools and its stakeholders to make them aware of the peer mediation process and benefits as well as hosting roundtables, workshops, webinars and more to share the growing ADR industry outlining the consequences of those who have not taken the opportunity to try mediation as an alternative to court proceedings (litigation).
